Commercial experience
Having worked for several national organisations Dave has, due to his work ethic and achievements, reached a high level of expertise and experience, serving as a regional manager, national manager, commercial director and managing director in a wide variety of fields. Some of his achievements are:–

• Implementation of effective management systems, increasing profitability by reducing costs and increasing efficiencies, taking one company from £75K loss to £275k profit in twelve months;
• Broke initial automatic services collection figures reducing debtor days by fifty per cent, implementing internal systems and collections;
• Increased customer base of all companies he worked for dealing with B & Q, Focus, Littlewoods, and Index to mention a few;
• eveloped internal training to increase customer services and staff support;
• Dave has worked in engineering, service sector and FMCG and Sport;

Sports
Dave’s lifelong passion for sport helped him develop numerous projects for Manchester Sports Partnership. He worked as a Multi Sports Coach for seven of the boroughs in Manchester, covering such sports as hockey, football, rounders, and athletics.

Beginning with a two week consultancy period in Lincolnshire Dave is still in the county nine years later. His roles included Working as NGB lead

• Responsible for the development of one hundred and twenty nine new clubs and teams across the county. Promoting the National Governing Bodies
• Roles in the partnership has seen him as Head of Business support, Facility Manager and Managing Director of the facility section of the Partnership, bringing over fifty new facilities to the area.
• Event and project management
• developed the Geoff Capes throws Academy (several national and international athletes)
• Street athletics with Linford Christie and Darren Campbell ran at ten different venues across Lincolnshire
• Water ways users group giving a voice to water users such as rowing canoeing and fishing
• Countryside sports days (developing and increasing membership in countryside sports)
• Rounder’s, development method which is now used across the country

Dave has also worked as Tutor Trainer for Youth Sport Trust, Manchester Educational Services, and Sport Coach UK delivering teacher education, coach education and designing a video for England Hockey to deliver Zone Hockey Coach Education.
