About Adrian Harte

Adrian has spent many years in the stores’ dispatch environment, working in various areas of industry, being responsible for the implementation of flexible manufacturing systems coupled with automatic guided vehicles whilst computerising stock at several companies, enabling efficient, accurate delivery and inventories.

Adrian felt ready for a new challenge and became Dispatch Manager for one of the country’s leading suppliers of F.M.C.G., supplying TESCO, Sainsbury’s and Wilkinson’s. With over two and a half thousand lines he achieved ninety eight percent on time pick. This was based on twelve hundred lines being picked per working day with two and a half thousand bar codes.

Moving to one of the county’s leading furniture manufacturers he and his team were responsible for picking and dispatching sixteen trailers each day to Argos, Littlewoods and Asda.

Adrian wanted to gain more experience in industry and became Sales Manager for Royal Tara UK Ltd developing sale accounts throughout Great Britain and the Channel Isles, organising trade shows at Harrogate, Birmingham and Glasgow Gift Fairs whilst looking after a sales team of twenty agents.

His two main loves in life have been gardening and sport so it was no surprise when he set up his own landscape gardening and decorating business, developing a loyal customer base which he serviced with his small team. He enjoyed nothing more than taking a wilderness and turning it into a garden feature to the delight of his customers.

Decorating was an added service required by many of his customers who used his company services for a number of years.

Adrian played cricket for his local team and was an active member helping with committee work and the development of the club both at senior and junior levels. As the only member of the team who has not completed the Bullock Smithy Marathon (56 miles in twenty four hours) 2013 will see his debut at this event, so watch this space in September to see how he gets on.
